Color TV is the core industry of Skyworth Group so it has strong technical strength and integration ability. In 2010
Skyworth invited Jay Chou to represent for its TV products to enhance the orientation of Skyworth TVs which is multimedia home entertainment.
Skyworth created “Coocaa 3D-LED” television which suggests the TV industry leading by Skyworth is moving from LCD to LED and then to 3D-LED field.
Skyworth cooperated with Intel and promoted the first Real-Time Chatting TV (COCO TV).

In 2009

Skyworth published <Skyworth Country Strategy, 2009>, aiming at developing the huge country market.
Skyworth successfully signed a contract with the Executive Board of Universiade Organizing Committee to be the sponsor of the 26th Summer Universiade which will be held in Shenzhen, China.

In 2008
Skyworth held the “Skyworth Cup” literature essay contest.
The third phrase “Skyworth New village Cinema Project” keeps playing movies for all the villagers.
Skyworth Group held a Theme Party “Sing for the Olympic, Skyworth fights for No. 1” to celebrate its 20th Anniversary.

In 2007
Skyworth Group became the copartner and sponsor of Chinese Space Cause. Skyworth TV, Mobile Phone and Security & Protection Monitor are awarded as the Special Products for Chinese Space Cause.
Skyworth Group signed contracts with the National Shooting Team and the National Clay-pigeon Shooting Team. Skyworth TV products were awarded as “Single Assigned products for the National Shooting Team and the National Clay-pigeon Shooting Team.
Skyworth launched the Skyworth CooCaa TV—the world’s first RM/ RMVB format LCD TV in cooperation with American Real Networks

In 2006
Skyworth Plane Display Science and Technology Industrial Park was fully deployed.
Chinese first GB PDTV came into being in Skyworth.
Skyworth’s LCD TV ME/MC Technology successfully passed through the appraisal of the relevant experts.

In 2001
The first state-level “Golden Phoenix-tree” human resources survey endorsed by Central Committee of Communist Youth League, CCTV showed that Skyworth ranked among “The Most Attractive 100 Enterprises for Human Resources”.
In May, Chinese first LCD Rear Projection Production Line started production in Skyworth.
In June, the Color TV Division was established. Nowadays, the frame of Skyworth’s diversification strategy has been outlined. Color TV Division, Media International Co., Ltd., Display Technology Co., Ltd., Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Photo-electric Rear Projection Co., Ltd., Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. and Qunxin Security Technology Co., Ltd. formed seven profit-making plates for Skyworth Group.
Skyworth Color TV was elected as one of “Chinese Well-known Products”.
The 23rd strongest industrial enterprise in Shenzhen

In 2000
In March, Skyworth co-established Jiangsu Institute for Digital Technology with Jiangsu Information Construction Investment Co., Ltd., Wuxi Research Institute of Applies Science & Engineering of Southeast University Co., Ltd. and Anhui Modern Television Technology Institute by investing USD 7 million.
In April, Skyworth Digital Holdings Limited was listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong with the raised capital of several billion Hong Kong dollars.
Skyworth formed an alliance with ESS, American largest broadband company to develop jointly the broadband network market.
In July, Shenzhen Skyworth-RGB Electronic Co., Ltd. successfully passed through Certification of High-tech enterprises and became one of key Hi-tech enterprises supported by Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government.
In September, Huang Hongsheng, the Board Chairman, was selected as winner of The Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong 2000.
Skyworth invested RMB 250 million on R & D and 200 million on equipment and infrastructure.
Its value-added tax and income tax plus duties reached RMB 220 million.

In 1999
Skyworth founded Skyworth Laboratory in American Silicon Valley.
In August, ING Group, one of the world’s largest investors, CAAM Funds (Switzerland) specializing in investment on Hi-tech enterprises and China Walden Venture Fund specializing on investment on Hi-tech enterprises in American Silicon Valley invested USD 30 million into Skyworth Group. They accounted for 15% of the shares.
In November, Tung Chee-hwa, Chief Executive of HKSAR, issued Hong Kong Awards for Industry to the representative from Skyworth.
On December 4th, Skyworth Digital Audio-video Co., Ltd. was officially set up.

In 1998
Its production and sales volume ranked the fourth in the industry. From then on, it was listed among “Top Enterprises”.
